1974 借用附近美國教會 (Bethel Lutheran Church) 開始下午主日崇拜。當時教會名稱 為「聖路易國語崇拜中心」。由一些兼職的牧師與神學生幫忙帶領崇拜服事。Began Sunday worship in the afternoon at Bethel Lutheran Church, University City. Mandarin was the preferred language used in the service. The church was called “Mandarin Worship Center”. Many part-time pastors and theological seminary students helped lead the services.
1978 教會改名為「聖路易華人基督教崇拜中心」。主日崇拜改為在上午舉行。地點遷 至 Calvary Heights Baptist Temple. 周孔道牧師成為第一位全職牧師。兒童在 Calvary Heights Baptist Temple 上主日學。Officially established as the “St. Louis Chinese Christian Worship Center”, and moved the regular Sunday worship to the morning at the Calvary Heights Baptist Temple. Rev. Kong Tao Chiow became the first full-time pastor. Children were attending Sunday school at Calvary Heights Baptist Temple.
1981 開始校園事工Initiated campus ministry.
1982 教會以 $85,000 購得2.5 英畝土地及一小民房。1983年民房改建供教會崇拜及 主日學之用。Church purchased a 2.5-acre lot with an existing house on Woods Mill Road ($85,000). In 1983 the existing house was remodeled ($38,000) for worship and Sunday School.
1984 成立差傳基金, 並開始差傳事工。Established mission funds and started mission ministries.
1986 教會改名為「聖路易華人基督教會」。The church’s name was changed to“St. Louis Chinese Christian Church”.
1987 開始進行第二期擴建﹐花費25萬美元。1987年9月12日舉行獻堂典禮。開始青少 年崇拜事工。Started the second building expansion project. The new sanctuary was dedicated in September 1987 ( $252,600). Started a separate worship service for the youth.
1988 擴大青少年事工. Mr. Bruce Tegg 成為青少年主任。Expanded Youth program and appointed Mr. Bruce Tegg as the Youth Director.
1990 潘尚智牧師成為教會第二位全職牧師。Pastor Samuel Shangchi Pan became the church’s second full-time pastor.
1996 會友大會通過著手進行第三期擴建。Members approved to proceed the third building expansion project.
1997 明牧師成為教會第一位全職英文牧師。Pastor Mark Manning became our church’s first full-time English pastor.
1999 會友大會通過增加預算為205萬元之第三期擴建工程。新堂破土動工。Members approved to increase the budget to $2,050,000 for the third expansion project. Ground breaking.
2000 第三期擴建工程已經完成, 在9/16/2000舉行獻堂典禮。The third expansion project was completed. The new building was dedicated on 9/16/2000.
2001 周宇定牧師成為教會第三位全職中文堂牧師。Pastor Yueting Chou became the church third full-time Chinese pastor.
2002 會友大會通過教會設立長老制。Members approved to establish Eldership in church.
2004 會友大會通過修定過之教會章程. 此章程現包括長老團。Members approved the revised church bylaw which now includes the Elder Board
2006 秋季會友大會通過尋找第二位中文牧師。 Church members approved at Fall Church Members Meeting the search for an additional Chinese Pastor.
