Gordon and Sherry&#8217;s neighbors, Braeden and Blake Homrighous (brothers) participated in portions of sparks time. Rodger Liu, who recently joined Cubbies, also completed the entrance booklet, and will receive his uniform next Friday night at AWANA. Rodger&#8217;s sister, Candy, and another sparkie, Annabelle, just got their sparks uniform yesterday. Give thanks also for sisters Jing Pan\/ Yuxing \/ brother Jiunn An who created an AWANA site on the church Chinese website. &nbsp;Some general AWANA information has been uploaded. I\u2019d encourage you to simply work with them on the next section on their book, although that may not correlate with the lesson leaders will give for Cubbies and T&amp;T. <strong>The goal is that kids learn and understand God\u2019s Word and how it connects to real life, not badges or awards. <\/strong>That being said, we know many kids really enjoy earning the awards and we want to support those who are pushing hard to hit those milestones. What listed above is simply a suggested pacing for those who want to finish their book before the end of the year. If some of the kids are off schedule and falling behind and willing to finish more, please encourage and support them (please refer to my e-mail sent to you on 9-16-18).
