1. ”我年老的時候、求你不要丟棄我。我力氣衰弱的時候、求你不要離棄我。Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.” (詩篇 Psalm 71：９)

2.”神阿、我到年老髮白的時候、求你不要離棄我、等我將你的能力指示下代、將你的大能指示後世的人。 Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.” (詩篇Psalm 71:18).

3. ”在白髮的人面前、你要站起來、也要尊敬老人、又要敬畏你的　神．我是耶和華 。Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.”  (利未記 Leviticus 19:32)

4.“所以你們要彼此接納、如同基督接納你們一樣、使榮耀歸與　神。Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God .” (羅馬書Romans 15:7)

5. 求神看顧我們的腳步，到老也能堅持純正的信仰。May our Lord watch our steps, so we could keep our faith in old age.

6. 求神教我們彼此接納、相顧，善待周圍的老人。May Christ give us a tender hearts to accept each other and have equal concern for each other, especially treat the elders well.
